They were married December 18, 1966 in Elko, Nevada. And now that they are both retired Merlyn and Deborah enjoy camping and boating their way around Idaho.
Their children are Tina (Richard) Eiman of Twin Falls, Idaho, Cordell (Colette) Pfeifer of Heyburn, Idaho, Sheila (David Shaw) Pfeifer of Hercules, California and Terri (Glenn) Ward of Donnelly, Idaho.
They are the proud parents of four daughters, Shawna (Terry) Howe, Wendy (Todd) Andersen, Heather (Gary) Tucker, Shannon (Jason) Killian and have been blessed with eleven wonderful grandchildren ages 10 to 25.
Gordon retired from the Twin Falls School District in 2000 where he enjoyed working for 33 years as an Educator and Guidance Counselor.

Crystal Rose Burling will marry Randall Patrick Badger at 6 p.m. Later they were business partners in Weigle Engineering. Weldon and Caroline are loved by three children, two daughters-in-law, and 5 grandchildren.
Saige Bench of Oakley , Idaho and Coleman Sorensen of Orderville Utah will be sealed together on December 30, 2017 in the Saint George temple. She is continuing her education in elementary education. Jim and Arlene Schmidt will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family gathering on March 4th at their home in Spokane, Washington.
They are superb examples of goodness, honesty and humility.
Both coleman and Saige served missions in the Columbus, Ohio mission. They were high school sweethearts who married in Jerome, Idaho on December 19, 1956.

After leaving Jerome for college and nursing school, service in the US Army as an officer and military spouse, and a few other adventures they eventually returned to Jerome in 1969.
After a four month courtship he surprised her by putting a ring on her finger and told her if she did not have a great time she could give it back at the end of the date. On a very cold snowy November day they were happily married in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
The next 7 years they lived in Shoshone, Dietrich, Bellevue, Carey and Hailey where Don served as principal and teacher in the public school system and completed his Masters of Education degree at Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho.
Don and Beverly Williams celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary November 16, 2016.
